Humanity is at the brink of self-extinction from allowing authoritarians to convince us they should rule us. The struggle of our time is for individual sovereignty. As well, we should not subjugate ourselves to extra-terrestrials – no matter how impressive their advanced capabilities. The key to thriving is having the Non-Aggression Principle as the True North of our moral compass. As described in THRIVE II, what we have been missing as a species is a Universal Morality. Perhaps, as we forbid the initiation of force – except in true self-defense, we will thrive on planet Earth and be welcomed into the cosmic family.
