Do I need to have Paypal to make a purchase?
No. When you get to the Paypal Login Screen, on the right side at the bottom of the page, you will see “Pay with Debit or Credit Card.” Click there and you will be able to enter your credit/debit card of choice. No Paypal is Necessary!

Do I have to purchase a weekend pass in order to purchase a workshop and/or intensive?
Yes, a pass is required to attend ALL events at Contact in the Desert. You must purchase either a 1-Day Pass or a full 5-Day Pass in order to purchase a Workshop and/or Intensive. Workshops and Intensives are included with Galactic and Interstellar Passes, and do not require separate purchase.
What are the differences between lectures, workshops and intensives?
All lectures are 1 hour and 40 minutes long and are FREE to ALL PASSHOLDERS.
All workshops are 1 hour and 40 minutes long and provide an opportunity to get even more up-close and personal with speakers in a smaller, almost classroom-like environment. Workshops are purchased separately for 1- and 5-day Pass holders ($19.99-$24.99), but are included with Galactic and Interstellar Passes.
All Intensives are 3 hours long, allowing for an unprecedented opportunity to get into even more in depth discussions with leading experts on their research and findings. Intensives are purchased separately for 1- and 5-day Pass holders ($39.99-49.99), but are included with Galactic and Interstellar Passes.
What are the conference start and end times?
The conference officially starts on Thursday, May 30 at 8:30am PST and ends on Monday, June 3 at 10pm PST.
How do I get my ticket purchases? Will they be mailed to me?
There are NO PHYSICAL TICKETS SENT OUT. All purchases are WILL CALL TICKETS which you will pick up at registration when you arrive at the Renaissance Esmerelda.
When you complete your purchase you will receive an email receipt (if you don’t receive an email please check your spam/junk folder before contacting us). Please keep this email receipt for your records, and bring it with you to registration along with a photo ID.
Registration opens on Thursday, May 30th at 9am PST and will run each day of the conference.

- Valet Parking is $39.00 overnight SPECIAL CITD RATE DISCOUNTED TO $10.00 short term (non-overnight guests)
- Self-parking is $23.00 overnight – SPECIAL CITD RATE DISCOUNTED TO $10.00 Overnight (Guests will have In/Out Privilege)
- Self-Parking is $23.00 daily – SPECIAL CITD RATE DISCOUNTED TO $10.00 (No In/Out Privilege)
