In light of Spooky Season, and Day of the Dead, Captain Ron had me on Beyond Contact to go over famous cases that involved monsters, flying humanoids, and goblins. That doesn’t sound like a UFO show- but two of the cases were investigated by Project Blue Book. Hopefully, you left the episode with a broader perspective on how we characterize the beings we come across.
The Flatwoods Monster, the Mothman sightings, and the Grinning Man (Indrid Cold), all took place in West Virginia. Only 25 miles away from each other. They were all accompanied by ufos, with sightings that lasted during and after the events took place.
The Flatwoods Monster, the Mothman, and the Kentucky Goblins, all had glowing eyes, and their movements were as if they were floating or gliding.
The Kentucky-Hopkinsville Goblins, and the Flatwoods monster, are both known to be green, although overtime, it’s hard to know if they were green or gray. If the Goblins were in fact gray, then they had the same skin color as the Mothman. All three of them were given the explanation that they were misidentified owls.
The Grinning man, Indrid Cold, looks nothing like them. Although he was sighted in the same area as the Flatwoods Monster, and the Mothman. His sightings also took place at the exact time frame as the Mothman, leading many to speculate they were connected. Holy rabbit-hole!
