Sky-Beings & Native American Lore

Friday, June 2, 2023
Time: 9:00am – 10:45am
Location: Crystal Amphitheater

Native American lore and beliefs have been passed down for generations, offering a unique perspective on the natural world and the relationship between humans and nature. Legends and myths that describe sky people, or beings from the sky, are rich in the cultural heritage of indigenous peoples.

Sky people and other mystical beings described in Native American lore, may have been extraterrestrial in nature. This challenges our understanding of the world in our ancient history, and how it relates to our present. We have all been looking toward the future, but maybe the answers have been waiting in our past.

This panel features Native Americans who know the history from their cultural source, and will teach us their oral myths of these Sky Beings that visited their ancient ancestors. They will help us answer the pending questions, could those same Sky Beings still be visiting us today?
